INDIAN SHORES, FL:
The Indian Shores Sunday Morning Market quietly opened December 7 and was met with some very excited customers and vendors.”I’m absolutely thrilled to have this Market here,” stated a resident of Indian Shores who identified herself as Diane. “We don’t have anything like this nearby. I bought my organic strawberries, a great lunch and some really unique Christmas gifts and I can’t wait to bring my family back when they arrive for the holidays.”
The Market was a hit despite the cold and damp conditions on opening day. “We had a great day!” stated vendor Heather Alsobrook of Mama’s Sauces. “This is an awesome location and everyone here is really nice.” And other vendors were in agreement: “We have a home run with this Market,” said Musashi Yamasaki of Candy from Japan. “Everything is wonderful here from the customers to the location.”
The Market strongly supports sourcing and supplying locally. “All of our vendors are local, hands-on owners and operators,” states Market Operations Manager Laura Garrison. “We have organic produce, gourmet foodies and some of the best artists and crafters in the area. And we’re really happy to be part of the Indian Shores community. The administration and the police department of Indian Shores are an incredible group of people to work with.”
The Market is open every Sunday from 9am-1pm through May and is located at 19305 Gulf Boulevard on the grounds of the Indian Shores Town Hall center. The Market is free of charge and family friendly. Leashed pets are welcome.
